LGR - Liberty or Death - DOS PC Game Review

Are you going to cover more of the localized Koei DOS games sometime later? Celtic Tales: Balor of the Evil Eye and Uncharted Waters: New Horizons would be worth a look. Koei also did a bilingual adventure game called EMIT (which has two sequels).

After watching this, I started to think about parts of my country's (Australia's) history that would make good strategy/simulation games. We have had a few small-scale internal conflicts (like the Eureka Rebellion), and participated in major conflicts from WW1 onwards. Apart from our defeat at Gallipoli in WW1, I can't think of anything that would be "as Australian" as the Independence War is American for you (at least anything that would make a good strategy game). I have to admit - I find the whole developed by a non-US team aspect really interesting with this, just from the whole outsider perspective. And yes, the atmosphere of the review was nicely bolstered up by showing it on hardware with nice mood lighting :)
