So cool- I remember using a card program for years as a kid to make all sorts of cards instead of buying them from the store. Think I had CardShop Pro or something.

I think I remember see this? Or I just remember being in the "Twilight Zone" I may have seen a later version. I did not remember the mouse and cat story.

Such an interesting story with their pivot from corporate training-ware to greeting cards! Plus, hearing the Dot Matrix printer is a unique nostalgia hit (Been such a long time since I heard one of those in action) - I'm not sure I could go back to hearing it regularly though ;)

omg you are such a jerk. why did you not give a spoiler warning about Santa not being real! My day is ruined!!! Oh and I see a full boxed copy of The Devil Inside on your shelf.. would LOVE to see a review or let's play of that. I bought thegame (have the cd, lost the box) and always got stuck in the level where you first get into the mansion.. For a old funky dated game.. it was actually pretty fun. So since you spoiled xmas for me.. how about you insert a lil satan into it now that santa is gone?! C'mon.. be a pal! lol

I haven't heard a dot matrix printer since my dad printed out stuff for me as a child. He really did introduce me to PCs early on and I have some of my finest PC memories from that time. Hearing a dot matrix printer is one of the most nostalgic things for me because of that...

I used to visit my mom in her office all the time as a kid when there was no babysitter. They were constant and it just kind of droned on, blending into the background of phones, fax machines, clicky keyboards, etc!

It was the Hi-Tech Expressions Jingle Disk 1986 version that came in the silver box. We kept it with our Christmas decorations and would boot it up every year on whatever the PC clone of the year was.

Man, those would be awesome Christmas cards to give out. Too bad that would waste a lot of ink... could send them by email but it wouldn't be the same without the dot matrix printing. Btw, I liked the voices in the story. Was that your voice or someone else? :)
