LGR - The Best (and Worst) Sims 3 Packs

Comments

I am glad You did this. Now that I have had a chance to re-discover the game, I am certainly glad that I dont have to feel compelled to buy each and every one of these to feel I am getting the most complete experience. I guess picking a point on the list and going up will be the way to go.

I don't think I'll be doing such a video, since really all I'd recommend are the places that come up immediately when you Google "Sims 3 Custom Content"

LGR

Great job. I will take your word for it since I have never played Sims 3. However, I did mess around with Sim City 2000 some.

Yay, now I'll finally have a video to show people if they decide they're interested in playing Sims 3 for whatever reason. Only real changes I'd make is to rate Supernatural over World Adventures (I don't find the zombies as boring and the supernatural types are fun to play around with while spicing up my games themes, whereas the three countries got a bit old and repetitive after a while). So will you do a video on some personal recommendations on where to get some good Sims 3 content (besides the store, of course)?

Full Fart is such an unintentionally funny translation :D

I somehow predicted the list was going to be exactly the way I thought lol. I could've sworn you've said your best and worst briefly in another video, but I could be wrong. Either way, awesome video.

Boo! :P

I agree with almost all of your list. I rate Into the Future my least favorite expansion, and for stuff packs I rate Master Suite higher. Other than that it seems we agree!

Christy Elsbury

I'm treating it more less like the puzzle cube from Hellraiser

LGR

Exactly. Expansion packs and stuff packs are entirely different from DLC.

LGR

Since you are going to try to forget about the sweet treats stuff pack, does that mean it will be locked away in a box, hidden in the crawl space underneath your home to never see the light of day again? lol

ReeseRiverson

Those aren't expansion packs or stuff packs, but towns and lots you can buy on the Sims 3 store which are highly overpriced.

Onyxthegreat

But... What about Roaring Heights? Or Lucky Palms and Lucky Simoleon Casino? Or Sunlit Tides? Or Monte Vista? Or Deliciously Indulgent Bakery? Or Aurora Skies? Or Dragon Valley? Or Barnacle Bay and Hidden Springs? Or Midnight Hollow? Or Lunar Lakes?

Jess the Stampede

Always awesome to hear how people discover the show :) Thanks, here's hoping TS4 allows for some creative and fun reviews

LGR

Ah, the memories with these videos! The University Life pack was the first video I watched from you (thanks to PUR advertising her sim appearance) and your least favorite stuff pack (unsurprisingly) is probably one of my favorite videos from you. Can't wait for you to review Sims 4! I had fun playing with the Sims 4 CAS and seeing what others created... that poor glitched, obese, purple shirt, elephant "HELP ME" man... haha
