Hey Marshall and Luis! Has the idea of making Traditional Draft ranked on Arena already been fully explored? It seems like it could offer a more skill-testing ladder and attract high-level players and content creators. That said, I understand concerns about splitting the player pool — but I wonder if the competitive incentives could help offset that. Would love to hear your thoughts if this still feels like an open question.

I have been playing MTG since Zendikar block, including a lot of paper tournament Magic up to qualifying for PT BFZ (I did very poorly, adopted the nickname Catacomb Slug because it’s stats are my Day 1 record). However, I haven’t played in a paper tournament since things shut down for COVID, and have been playing exclusively on Arena instead. Now, I have the means and opportunity to attend my first large paper tournaments again this year. Any advice for returning to paper magic competition from almost daily digital play? For example not missing triggers, clarity of game state, not giving away information, etc? Thanks! I love the show and always look forward to your new episodes for my walks with the dog.

It was a bit unfortunate hearing you go through the final fantasy set review and miss many of the references. It's to be expected but had me feeling sad as many of those references were taking the place of the typical puns or top-down designs. Now that you've had a chance to experience this with final fantasy, did this end up impacting your initial impression of the set? You've previously indicated you didn't think it would be a big deal, but curious whether it's played out as you expected. PS please set up the podcast on youtube music!
