BEHIND THE SCENES #3 - [S1E8.36]: The Gacha Machine

SO WE'RE FINALLY AT THE REASON FOR THE TITLE..... god, i really can't believe it ended up taking this long DNJFNGNJH--but i am SO excited for what's coming next >:3c people have made some somewhat accurate predictions in the comments already, but i don't think it's even possible to fully guess the direction things are gonna go... im mad hyped to show it tho!! :D

believe it or not, this scene was originally going to happen in like, the fifth episode overall, but then things got... SO very sidetracked.... we're finally here though!! woo!!

to be honest, there isn't much different from last time in terms of How i drew this update, other than some added glow effects to make the panels and speech bubbles stand out a little more from the background, but what IS interesting about this one is that it's almost an exact re-telling of a scene from the gacha girl pilot series, which was made for the short story contest all the way back in 2019!! this whole thing was originally supposed to fit in only 5 episodes... i can't even imagine DNDFNGJH... there's only a little bit more of the original storyline to get through tho, and then we're on to some entirely new stuff!! B)

here's some comparisons between the pilot episode and the newest one!! i can't believe it's been over 3 years since i started drawing and writing these dorks... time flies!!!!

i'm really happy with how far my art has come since then, but to be honest, i think the thing i'm happiest with overall is that the characters have remained consistent enough since the pilot that this scene still makes sense--pretty much the only thing that changed was that eve got a little more horny, which, you know what... that's fine with me lol. for some reason, even though art is my main skill, i take even more pride in my writing....so, knowing i haven't let the characters personalities drift in that time makes me rly rly happy B))c
