Asgard Arena (Lore and How to Participate)

Every Nation needs something EXCITING to FOCUS the people's attention!

Something the people themselves have the card in their hands but the outcome is entirely for FATE to DECIDE!

So...  Let me ASK you, oh BRAVE ADVENTURER

Are you STRONG? Or maybe you are the SMART type?

Are you Quick on your Feet? Or maybe you prefer resilience instead?

Big Weapons or smaller ones?

Are you CONFIDENT in your abilities?

YES?!

In that case...

Welcome, Oh Brave One!

to ASGARD ARENA!!

YES! I believed this Project deserved it's own presentation, as this is the THIRD Project of our PATREON page!

Asgard Arena is a project where patrons will REGISTER their OWN Characters to test their might against one another

AND

the most fun part is:

The RESULT of this mettle with be made into a Comic STRIP!

EVERYTHING about Asgard Arena will be better explained bellow, but I will already ANTECIPATE to you all that:

The Battle System is simple, so everyone will understand it without the need to read a full Handbook about it

AND

I will not be deciding any Outcomes nor Winners! No, no, no, nope!

This will be a FAIR and FUN game so ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WILL BE ARRANGED BEFOREHAND!

It will be UP to the Character's OWNER to decide WHAT they will do and Freyja HERSELF will be the Judge to make sure no one cheats in HER WATCH!

Let's Begin with the BASIC!

Asgard Arena is a BATTLE GAME That will be Fighted in 3 ROUNDS that uses a Simple Weapon-Triangle System WITH A TWIST, commonly known as Rock-Paper-Scissor, but HERE we will use:

SWORD - MAGIC - SHIELD

Sword WINS against Magic

Magic WINS against Shield

Shield WINS against Sword

This means EACH Character will have 3 Attack Moves to choose from when battling in the Arena!

Now, the TWIST is that WE HAVE SPECIAL EFFECTS that can be Combined in an ABILITY and ADDED to the Attack! (1 PER ATTACK) They can be:

HEAL - Heals 1 Wound

PROTECTION - Prevents 1 Wound FOR THE NEXT ROUND

DEBUFF - Makes 1 Heart Impossible to be Healed or Protected

There will be all kinds of combinations for Special Effects that we are Working and Writing but don't worry, ALL will be published and public so you will be able to read it all and decide for yourself how to your character as strong as possible!

With the Explanation out of the way, let's FOCUS on HOW TO REGISTER!

All Adult Patrons will be able to choose one of their Original Characters to register for the ARENA!

You just need to fill the Registration Form NOT ONLY with the Details of your Character but also Assign the which Strikes you would want for EACH attack and the Special Effect that will be applied!

For Example:

Fighter A

Sword - Roundhouse Kick -  Special Effect 1

Magic - Attack with a Big Cleave - Special Effect 2

Shield - Jump and throwing a Fire Ball - Special Effect 3

Bear in mind that REGISTRATION IS PUBLIC so everyone will know the Special Effects an opponent has up their Sleeves!

Take your time, read the abilities carefully and make your favorite OC into a deadly weapon!

Once registered, the character will wait for their turn to BATTLE!

1 Character will be chosen by popular vote and the other Character will be picked by US (Me and Lacan)

When the battle stage is set the OWNERS of both characters will choose how they will STRIKE!

Each Player will secretly choose 3 of the options (1 for EACH ROUND) and send it to US via Direct Message.

The FUN part is: you dont get to know RIGHT AWAY who won! We will draw the strikes and results on a comic strip resembling a 2D Fighting Game! using, of course, the moves YOU decided for you Character!

Because OF COURSE we needed to turn that into ART RIGHT??
