The Lululemon Murder

Survived! Didn't fall off but got very wet and am now sick, still better than taking a tumble because only a small part has walls

The Lululemon Murder

Comments

Wow those are beautiful pics!!

teri allen

Oh hey, Mike. Did ya know Lululemon start in Canada 🇨🇦? Ha

Squirrel

Oh my gosh!! Me too!! Still do. I don’t want to ever go there again. Remember how scared we were were thinking it was random at first!? Xoxo stay safe 💕

Squirrel

I’m about to watch this. This happened just a few miles from my house. It still creeps me out too much to go to that store. 1. The prices 2. The murder. That Bitch had all of us scared for DAYS!! Crazy woman!! I worked retail through college and I unknowingly busted a girl who was trying to “credit” her credit card almost every shift. Stupid ass didn’t realize that corporate makes sure returns go to the “original payment.” Well she went off on me screaming, yelling, saying rude mean things. At the time I had NO IDEA I was in the process of exposing her. I was clueless. Anyway, when the Lulu murder happened, I had been long out of retail and graduated college (or University as you say.) It was so similar. The girl I worked with, her attitude and the way she acted that night.......that it made me really reflect on my experience and scary it could have been. They busted the girl I worked with a few months later (I refused to work with her after the temper tantrum.) The weird thing was she had the initial breakdown after I totaled everything up and it was wrong. Then she calmed down and apologized. Then less then 10 minutes later when she realized I put in a call to the manager expressing my extreme uncomfort with the situation, she went straight up bonkers. She yelled at me and screamed at me as we locked out and continued going off on me until I got to my car and drove away. It rattled the shit out of me. Anyway, Bitch got taken to court and had to pay over $10k back and do community service. I don’t know anymore. I wish she received a month in jail. The store was so nice and gave me a $100 reward even though I didn’t outward catch her. I just brought it to their attention that something was terribly off with this chick. I trust no one! Especially, women. Love ya Mike! Sorry you got sick but so happy you are better. (And SAFE!) Can you make me a tin hat? You look soooooo cute in it. No offense to your beautiful fiancé. I can help you pick the diamond for her out. That’s what we sold. 😂 true freaking story. Shivers! 🥶

Squirrel

I could see what was coming right away. Wow what a psycho.

Marty_61

I wouldn’t kill in the first place but I see what you are saying, who knows. All I do know is that prison is not a nice place to be. Even Ted Bundy hated prison.

Soffity

I'd like to know this as well

gethaunted

you are humanizing a monster. *you* would be racked w guilt, many - most - would. but there are people who really just don't give a shit and are remorseless. so I wouldn't be sure he's haunted.

Mike Joe

lol wtf is your deal, dude

Lauren Lovecraft

Just to think people actually heard her cries for help and did nothing. Mind-boggling...

Linderman Edgewater

Sorry to hear you are sick, but happy to know you didn’t die☺️🤗

Crystal Morgan-Nees

, I also believe if there is any doubt what so ever about a persons guilt they shouldn’t be executed. I’ve read a lot about Scott Peterson’s case including Amber Frey’s book and I think he is most likely guilty ....but.there is a tiny bit of me that wonders. Coming from a country that doesn’t have a death penalty I think it isn’t up to us to be judge ....and executioner, the person who has to perform the execution is doing it as part of their job and that just doesn’t seem right to me. Scott must be in hell. I was thinking of all the things he doesn’t get to enjoy etc, even having a comfortable chair to sit in, I know Lacy and Connor, are dead but I also think he is being well punished, which if he is guilty ,, is justice. What do you think Ashley?

Soffity

Dunno if you've had it recommended. But John Christie is a really interesting one (I watch tons of murder documentaries and had never heard of it from before today, so apologies if it's outrageously well known) particularly the Timothy Evans portion.

Doug Wills

The brother was clearly working with the police. Who asks if their loved one committed a murder in a interrogation room? Everyone knows those rooms are monitored.

Ashley Killingsworth

Wow. I’m so disturbed by how little so many people value life.

Ashley Killingsworth

Do you think that has more to do with the fact that Cali doesn’t enforce their death sentences...when was the last time CA executed an inmate. I think it makes sense. He’s not living a pleasant life and I’m sure he’s haunted, deservedly so, by the horrific crimes he committed.

Ashley Killingsworth

When you're feeling better, would you look into Paris Bennett to see if it's a case you'd like to cover?

Ashley O

Thanks Mike

Jane Pohl

Did you all hear Scott Peterson’s death penalty has been reduced to life in prison without parole. No more death row for Scott. What will be next? A new trial??

Soffity

This is the first case in months I’d never heard of. Marvellous, mind you I’ll watch your take on any murder no matter how well known, love being a patron . Best value for money ever,,,,

Soffity

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics mike!

“Did someone say yoga?”

Joseph Callaghan

Also wanted to add — you don’t have to be a keen detective to know someone is guilty when asked by a family member if they did it and, rather than flat out say “no” if they were truly innocent, would say they’d rather talk about it outside of interrogation.

Susanne Fermin

So glad I became a TC patron! This is the one channel (so far) that I have found worth supporting. Thanks for all your hard work Mike!

Susanne Fermin

Their clothes are shit if you do any exercise heavier than yoga. 80 bucks for pants that fall apart in a few months just because you run instead of do poses all day? Nah.

ShyShanks

I was so excited to see your photos of Moher on Insta! Definitely jealous as heck. Keep up the grand ol' work there, Mike, and stay safe!!! Covid's devastating Irish countryside right now so be sure to go to the doctor if it's more than just the sniffles. (Having had Covid from March-July, know that the symptoms are usually fatigue and cognitive delay before a cough shows up and your survival chance is lowered). *Insert The More You Know Rainbow Here*

Payton Smith

My daughter is moving to Norway this September and Ireland will be just skip, hop, jump away so I expect to do a lot of travelling across the big pond in the next years! (I wanna show my freckles and my beer loving tongue where they come from...)

Irene Veronica

I'm not that surprised that self-help books, yoga (and 50 dollar t-shirts) would drive people to murder.

flip the pancakes(翻烙餅)

Lovely photos reminds me of Dover, kinda, without the chalk. Miss Ireland too.

Jacquie Poier

I'm just confused as to why the store didn't have any surveillance footage? I thought almost all stores had cameras inside. You would think a store with such expensive clothes would at least have cameras... you know to catch people stealing and committing murders.

Rebecca

Mike - fantastic photos on Insta- thx for sharing. Ireland is on my bucket list, my friend. 🍻 (We just purchased my dream car, so mayyyyybe once COVID takes hiatus, the dream trip will get checked off as well!) Horrific story here tho; I sometimes try to imagine what goes through the minds of the people involved. I have heard odd things about lululemon over the years- however there aren’t any of their stores - that I know of- in MN. Maybe I should be thankful. 🤷‍♀️

Rachel Milani

I would like to make a request because I have not seen anyone do a segment on this guy. His name is Timothy Jones Jr. It's a very sad story involving his children and what he did to them. But would be nice to see someone timeline the events and so on...

Sue Loiselle

Brittany's story had more holes in it than one of my socks.

Eddie Glass

Jayna should have lied to Brittany's face and said "No, I didn't report you."

Lisa Henkel

Sorry you are sick 😷

Peri Jetton

yoga pant educators! love it

Lee Brown

Those cliffs are beautiful and that wind! I was on a little visit there in 07 and I thought I might be blown right off... glad you are safe!

Lee Brown

Glad to hear you're on the mend! Even if the Canadian and/or Florida tourism boards may be indifferent 😉

Ben Brown

Thanks for sharing the pics! It looks beautiful there, get well soon!

Sadee Baron

Glad you survived. Sorry about the cold

Helga Bluestone

Am I allowed to say it was worth it for the photos????

TruthMatters Bron

Mike you are amazing!! I have heard the Lululemon story before but I just heard for the first time again!! You are a great story teller. Thank you for that!!

Desiree Garber

Mike, you legend! Thank you soo much for covering my suggestion I knew you would do this story justice! As always love your insight on the story and look forward to your next video! Also hope you feel better soon 😊

Tianna Jackson

Fantastic photos Mike. Also, the video went way too fast, as always. Can't wait for next time!

Alicia Hoverson

Thanks for the gorgeous pictures! If you recorded this video after your return, your voice doesn't sound hoarse (yay!), but I have a healing recommendation anyway: guggle-muggle. It's an old Jewish shtetl drink for colds and irritated throats, and it'll make you feel good even when you're not sick. "Although there are endless variations on the ingredients used in this concoction, there seems to be a consensus that a guggle-muggle must contain a raw egg, honey, and a shot of whiskey." Also usually milk and a dab of butter -- you warm it up, so it's both soothing and alcoholic. As a little kid, I did not like that whiskey flavor!

Yaddy Alioshi

Sounds like Brittany was hangry. 🤣 So glad you made it back Mike, sorry to hear you're sick. Hot toddy will have you right in no time 🤒🤧 🥃

Redz 71

Ok, please don't think I don't have sympathy for victims of violent crimes (I am one myself...stalked, and then...) but when folks bring flowers to a crime scene, I would really like to see the plastic pulled down so the flowers actually show. A sea of flowers is much more beautiful and respectful than a sea of plastic and wasted flowers that no one can see.

Catherine DeWitt

I do think that's how he meant it.

dougie

I hope you're drinking loads of whiskey. That always makes my colds better.

Catherine DeWitt

I lived in Maryland and worked in Bethesda when this happened. I used to go past the store frequently and even saw the police tape up right after the crime. After that I always took an alternate route so I wouldn’t have to pass it.

Lynette

Not sure if it's at all comparable, but if you think about the US Postal Service, how they treated their employees and the conditions they worked under - when someone snapped and went 'postal', the stress could've been a contributing factor. Maybe that's what he meant? 🤔

Lisa B

Anglicized speech comment was a joke. But apparently I'm off a bit. I thought Mike was from the Republic of Ireland, apparently you're telling me he's English.

dougie

dougie

I think it's fair to say he cited the work environment as a contributing factor as if it wasn't solely Brittany's fault because big bad Lululemon Corp had people believing in Unicorns or else. And in that environment, she must have been just too worried at what the repercussions might be of stolen yoga pants.

dougie

Wow. Those “educators” were fucking nuts. This case is insane. Feel better soon Mike!

Rosemary R.

Black Seranna has the right idea. It's all about soup and rest brother. Get well soon.

James Riley

I’m with you Halie Gail. Dougie should spend a little time looking up info on the company and its pos founder billionaire Chip Wilson. That said it was great job on covering this story Mike! Thanks

Red37

Glad you made it back okay. Good job not falling off the edge. I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well though I hope you feel better very soon and do take it easy while you're feeling bad. We can wait for the next video although I will be definitely looking forward to it. My birthday is this coming Friday so as long as it's by Friday. Lmfao I'm kidding. feel better soon.

Shellie Brown

Anglicized speech? Where do you think he’s from, anyway? His speech is spot on.

Black Seranna

Gosh. I hope you get to feeling better. I hate being sick. Hopefully you have some soup and lots of hot drinks on hand. Also, thanks for showing us those gorgeous photos!

Black Seranna

Crazy story, and great job, despite Dougies delusional take on your “anglicized speech”. Whatever the fuck that means..

Halie Gail

I don’t think he said any close to what you’re insinuating.. Calm down dude already dude. He only gave us the info that employees had shared as their experience.. He wasn’t blaming the store for anything that happened.. Do you have stock in lululemon or what?

Halie Gail

Dude. Dude. Dude. You've never given me cause to object before but come on! Blame the fucking store? REALLY? So every little societal microcosm where people interact in delusional ways (and there a gazillions of them such as essential oils stores, and scores of various New Agey type cottage industry stores and gatherings, supernatural bookstores) these are in your eyes platforms basically tricking their "educators" into violence? No I'm disappointed in the typically no-nonsense Mike this time. Going New Age on us. In fact that defense sounds like something someone came up with IN a Luluemon store. And by the way what's with all the Anglicized speech? "Right! Sorted!" ?

dougie

I'm one of the people that suggested this story and I think you did an excellent job of telling it. Thank you for putting your Mike brand on it as always

Jennifer Petote

This goddamned case is absolutely insane. Somehow it never ceases to amaze me how fucking stupid people can be. “Oh, yeah. I’m the smartest murderer ever. No one will ever be able to figure out who did this!!!”

DEADisBEAUTIFUL .

Mike, another great video. Keep em coming! Thanks

Chris Lemacks

Even though you didn't die, I'll still smoke some joints for you lol

Rob

I am envious of you😩

Amy Hajra-Dovah

🤣🤣🤣 You're so funny Mike! I'm glad you made back safe and sound. I'm sorry you're now sick. Some chicken soup and vitamin C should make you feel batter. That's what always makes me feel better when I have a cold. Looking forward to the next video once you're well of course, no rush love. Stay warm and toasty in your bed and get better soon. 💪❤🐾🐾

CryptoPitbull

dude! always on time w dinner!!!

sfa

I still had a beer for you even though you didn’t die

Lauren Lovecraft
