In what follows, bear in mind that I belong to YouTube Premium and so, I don't see inserted adverts. ~ Aside: I wonder if being a premium member is denying ad revenue to monetized videos? I hope not, but I feel like something of a freeloader to people who monetize and thus, in my angst, I become a patron of my favourite creators. I want to chip in, but I don't want to be annoyed by jarring adverts. ~ Your inline advert was cool, because it felt like a brief aside from the conversation. I like that it was apparently ad lib. Flashing the cicada was a nice touch. ~ I'm a fan of classic radio shows (before TV existed) and the averts in those shows were often a part of the programme, occasionally with hilarious results as they were broadcast live. ~ Now, hypothetically speaking as someone who doesn't belong to YouTube Premium , it boils down to reciprocity. You work hard to make a video and you want to tell me about someone who's willing to pay you for your hard work and to broadcast it. I'm listening...

In a vague way, this reminds me of the Q-anon nonsense, just one or more people messing with people's heads for the hell of it albeit with rather different goals in mind between them.

It's a crazy, unsolved case that would be right up your alley. There's even a tinfoil hat angle you could take, as it has developed into a ghost story. I'm sure you have a giant list of things to research, but I thought I'd throw this out to you as well. I'm super helpful like that. Anyway, another great video full of chuckles. Thanks, Mike!
