Jan: Past story

His name originally belonged to his savior when he was lost wandering around in the desert. They met on February 29 so his birthday comes every leap year. (that's why his 5th birthday means 20 years have passed). He was devoted and infatuated with his savior but he fell to his vampiric instinct and ended up killing his savior Jan. His current ideals and principles all stemmed from the original Jan. He took up his name to continue living as Jan and feel close to him.
I had this idea about his past for a long time and drawing such dark story was quite enjoyable. Hopefully with this, Jan's behavior makes a bit more sense. Still, he is quite a strange vampire...
