This piece is somewhat simple and experimental.
Initially, I wanted to do a fan art of Arcade Girl from Littler Snatcher, but I ended up drawing something else.
Because of the white "furry edge" of the denim shorts, and also the tapered shape this camera angle gives to the denim shorts, I was reminded of a mountaineer scaling a snowy mountain.
This piece served as a "warm-up" for me, as it's been a while since I've drawn with complete creative freedom. The next piece will probably be more complex.
