CROWLEY!! Cecil! Mark Sheppard! Legend pyro maniac haha. Great to see him in this show and episode. Let's hope he stays in that chamber though, away from all child and others in general. Pheobe Green was an interesting character and addition to Mulder's history. I think it's for the best she remains in London haha.

2025-11-07 05:47:54 +0000 UTCThe beginning gave me Mission Impossible vibes. He puts in the tape and a voice should have said, "Good afternoon Mr. Mulder,". Loved when Phoebe said "She hates me.", we in the audience were like, "Ya think?". Yes, that was a very young Crowley. The actress playing Phoebe Greene was on "The Flash"(Many years before the Arrowverse.). When he produced "Backdraft", Ron Howard got technical advise from actual firefighters and fire investigators. They all told him mostly the same thing. Fire acts like it's alive. It was important for Mulder to face his fear so that he could get through it. BTW, "You can set Phoebe on fire.". "Who said that?". I think it might have been an echo from your computer. You should get that checked😉.

2025-11-07 00:21:34 +0000 UTCWhen Scully fakes an English accent to imitate Phoebe as she opens the door to the office to give Mulder a little "scare," it reminded me of something. I've mentioned before that I didn't really get into this show until about 10 years ago. I was familiar with it, being the cultural icon it became, but never really "followed" anything about it during its TV airing days. It wasn't until after seeing most of the series that I happened upon an episode of Top Gear where Gillian was a guest. She was speaking with an English accent and I was seriously like, "Wait... what!?" I then learned that she had spent a good chunk of her childhood in London, and later summered there with family, and could easily flip between English and American accents.
