Another X Files reaction and this one is titled Eve, related to Adam and Eve but a very different reference. Genetically modified beings, super creepy... close to the shining twins some might say haha. The experiment goes way too far and they outsmart the creator and turn into killers themselves!

2025-11-02 05:54:10 +0000 UTCI feel that your explanation of the mother's feeling does make sense, but I also thought that she was only indignant before because she DID give birth to her, so maybe she was thinking at the time that this WAS her daughter (because she had no reason to think otherwise before that), then that put the seed in her mind that MAYBE she isn't really her daughter. Then Mulder and Scully come to her afterwards and tell her the truth and that the girl, that turns out to be a genetic experiment, actually killed her husband. Made total sense to me that she then distanced herself from the little psycho. I think both of those things being true (that the girl is genetically not her daughter AND that the girl was the one who killed her husband) is what makes that detachment make sense. It'd be more odd if both of those things weren't true.
