Well Dakrya is at it again...this show is killing me! I hate that Polivia is having to go through this, neither of them deserve it! Hard episode but a great episode and I also enjoyed the MOTW, they do love to link/draw parallels between the MOTW and their main characters-love it!

2025-05-27 09:10:14 +0000 UTCI'm very slowly working on catching up, so I suspect it's not likely you'll see this message. I need to comment anyway. I am one of those who was frustrated with Peter. Peter is very smart and empathetic. He knew Olivia very well. So, I feel that he should have suspected that it wasn't her. The fact that no one even considered that she could have been switched seemed odd to me. I was frustrated with this whole story line. It felt like the type that writers do too often to add complications to budding relationships. I try not to get jaded about it, but it's hard. Beyond that, it is really good acting. But now, we have something that will keep them apart. Frustrating! How do you get over something like this? Probably with another well used writer's trick. I like it when writers surprise us by not using the typical tropes.

Though I do applaud the show (and Peter) for immediately - or as immediately as was reasonable - telling Olivia the truth. That's how we know this is a show about something larger that relationship drama, as if it were a soap they would have dragged out the revelation, with Peter only revealing it when cornered somehow.
