IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED GUYS!!! Polivia is officially real!!! Naturally the show is already torturing us BUT IT HAPPENED, no takebacks! What a finale guys! Absolutely brilliant acting and storytelling as always with this show. The NEED to always hit play once an ep ends, is so strong! I pray for season 3 to be just as incredible as this one. When will they realise Olivia isn't actually Olivia and who will spot the differences and how on earth will our Olivia escape? And what does Walternate have planned for Olivia???? ALL THE QUESTIONS!!!

One thing I immediately thought as this episode ended was that our Olivia could transport herself back. I think Peter lost any trust in Walternate when he realized that Walternate planned on using Peter to destroy the other universe and that it would likely kill Peter while doing so. I definitely had doubts about Bell and I was a bit suspicious about Olivia from the start - at the Opera building.

2025-02-01 20:25:29 +0000 UTCI kept wanting to call Fauxlivia "Sporty Spice" for some reason. Her bouncy walk, short jacket and boots, just make her seem so much more in your face than Cortexiphan!Soldier Olivia. Anna Torv got a lot of shit back in the day from people saying she was stiff and a bad actress because Olivia is so controlled, but I think this proves just how capable she is of using small facial differences to differentiate a character. I think Peter was probably on overload when Olivia showed up and kissed him, and that's why he doesn't swoon into her arms, so to speak. He doesn't fit There, has never felt like he fit Here, just found out he's genetically keyed to the power source of a world-ending ancient machine, and is probably also still a little pissed that she didn't tell him the truth immediately when she figured out he was from Over There. Couple more differences between the Red-verse and here: Their $20 bill is a Junior (for Martin Luther King, Jr, a United States racial equality civil rights leader, for those not from the U.S.) rather than President Andrew Jackson (who is remembered, in part, for signing the Indian Removal Act that forced Native Americans from their lands). Since I don't see Fauxlivia as a theatre person, the Red'verse version of "Science Fiction Double Feature," presumably from the 1975 movie Rocky Horror Picture Show, is sung here by a woman rather than Richard O'Brien. They did such a good job with the visual clues! One zeppelin or non-oxidized Statue of Liberty shot, and we know it's not Here.
