Ah. Yep. Here's where things fall apart. Either he developed feeling and she didn't, or he tried to rush the relationship that was building, or (in the worst case scenario) he got possessive. In all of these scenarios it's not surprising things didn't work out and Bernice distanced himself from him. A shame she didn't keep that GORGEOUS looking "bed head" though! It's such a an incredible looking hairstyle all on its own!~
