Aww. I'm not gonna lie. This is really cute. And Byland here seems really suave and charming. I'd be blushing to if I were in her place. He actually comes off like a genuinely nice guy, or at least like the trope of the "handsome rogue" where they do bad things but aren't really bad people at all. I hope you don't rush to end this flashback! I actually want to see this in full! Not only Bernice in such gorgeous attire, but a kinder and younger Byland. Maybe we can get a glimpse into pre-bimbo Bright Shore at least in background details.
