What a way to start a season! Truly love this show and the pacing of this episode had me out of breath! So glad to see Nick reunited with Kelly, even if brief & clearly him and Adalind are stronger than I thought. Eve/Juliette visits the underworld and seems fearful of Nick carrying the healing stick. Nick is currently being hunted by Renard and his forces - how the hell is he gonna get out of this one?!

I really don't like how they first sort of sidelined Renard for awhile and then just turned him into an asshole. I really like the character so let's hope this is setting up a story arc for him to come back to old Renard. I kept wanting to brush Trubel's hair out of her face as there were plenty of times it was covering her right eye. Need to see clearly to fight, my girl. Oh, and yes, Dak, it did look a little different to me too. I'm glad you mentioned liking Sgt. Franco as I really do too. A few episodes ago I mentioned him in my comment, but you probably never saw it as I was still catching up. I'll copy/paste it here: Another actor I wanted to mention was Robert Blanche, who plays Sgt. Franco. I've seen him in so many things, but Grimm is his most prolific role. He just seems like an actual police officer they hired for the show and I immediately trust him implicitly. Sadly, he passed away at only 57. I absolutely loved Nick and Adalind reuniting. "I need to be with you." 🥲 Okay, how are we ever going to forgive Renard for his "shoot to kill" command for Nick?! He better be under a spell or possessed or something. Wu's Woge is still goofy as hell to me. Monroe and Rosalee in this episode made me emotional. 💞 Bud is so on edge all the time, but he's the best guy ever. You gotta love Bud. Oh! I almost forgot! After the healing stick saved Juliette/Eve, her whole personality changed and reverted back to how she used to be (to me anyway) - did the healing stick change Eve back to Juliette?! That would be an incredible twist. Thanks Dak! I'm sure glad I'm caught up with your uploads!
