Future of the Series & Stubbing

Hello, everyone!

I wanted to provide an update to what is happening with my story; there are many things going on behind the scenes. For right now, Book 2 is nearing the end, though I'm not quite sure how many concrete chapters are left yet. But once Book 2 is done, I will be taking a break.

As some of you may be familiar, Stubbing, is a term that is used on RoyalRoad a lot.

It basically means that an author has decided to move on to publishing their story, 99% of the time, taking their story to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. By doing so, Amazon requires exclusivity. This means that authors are required to take down the content of that book, wherever they are uploaded.

Generally, chapters from the 'other books,' will still be fine, as those aren't part of the content being published to Amazon.

HOWEVER, my story is undergoing... something more unique and exciting.

I have been working with an agent, and we are currently discussing a potential large opportunity for The Little Necromancer, one that only a handful of authors from RoyalRoad have gotten a chance to explore. That specific deal however, will require a full stub. This means that content from my story will no longer be uploaded on RoyalRoad, or on Patreon, but instead moved elsewhere for me to serialize.

I know some of you like having a hub like RoyalRoad or Patreon to read all your novels, but I think taking this offer, and moving my story elsewhere, will be the best for my story. (I want to firmly state that it'll be better for my series as a whole, than it would benefit me personally).

I do not have a concrete date for when this will happen, but it won't happen relatively soon. It'll probably be weeks or months out, depending on how I approach the offer I received. This may also completely 'cancel out' my break at the end of book 2, as I will no longer upload chapters of The Little Necromancer here.

That being said, Book 3 will likely not be on RoyalRoad or Patreon. More details to come later.

If you've read it this far... I also have one more favor/question to ask.

Some of you may have read my other story, Until The World Falls; a story about a legendary 10th mage regressing back in time, in hopes to prevent the destruction of the world. Free members have access to 5 chapters while paid members have access to more.

I basically want to ask: what do you all think of the story? Is it interesting? It was something I wanted to write, but I also don't want to lose an audience I've been building for over the last year for something mediocre. I would appreciate any and all critique or praise you may have for that story. I do also have some other story concepts I can explore, but since this story was already uploaded here, I wanted to ask for everyone's opinion first.
