Hello All!
When ever I see an emotional heartfelt scene between Buffy & Giles I just wanna sob uncontrollably...just me??? Buffy & Spike spent more time together in this episode. I think it's funny that Spike tries to 'lure' her into his world & she's just like, 'nah' haha.
Hope you enjoy the reaction folks. Have a lovely week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!
Much love
Dakara x

So glad that you enjoyed this one, as you said much comedy gold from the Geeks! I agree, very frustrating that we didn't get to see Buffy and Angel meet up, but I think we're safe to assume that Cordy and Wesley's play was pretty accurate! And I wouldn't have missed that for the world!

I had forgotten that this episode was a sort of "part two" coming off of 6x04 with Andrew, Jonathan, and Warren. I immediately rolled my eyes based on that, which I felt was a hodgepodge of various characters thrown together as a filler episode. However, this episode did it right and was very enjoyable. The humor was always on point and made me laugh, or at least smile, many times. Favorite line was probably the "I'm a breast girl", but the geek squad had the best and most laughs.
As always, thank you very much, Dak. 👍🏻

YES. Watchers get paid, why not the slayer?

Love this one. Jonathan/Warren/Andrew are silly as hell but their nerdy dialogue is so entertaining. As others have said, Buffy/Angel were on different networks now. What happened was that when they filmed the BS5 finale they didn't know if they were cancelled or not. The WB network had ecomincal issues around this time, so eventually they were cancelled (among other shows). But the UPN network quickly made a deal and bought Buffy and Roswell (another show you might like? 3 seasons,)

So as sweet as it is that Giles gave Buffy money in the end, I am kinda salty that he didn’t give her a little money in the first place once he came back and knew she was broke because of her mom’s hospital bills. I mean, her mother was sick and died and then SHE f#%king died to save them all! Plus, we know Giles was paid as a watcher and last season Buffy got his salary re-instated from the council when they came to Sunnydale because of Glory. Buffy ALSO got him his pay retroactively, so he got paid for all the months he didn’t get paid after he first got fired. So I feel like him giving her some money is a no brained and he should have done it the second he knew she needed it. But what BOTHERS me the MOST is WHY ISN’T THE COUNCIL PAYING BUFFY?!?!!!! Yes, of course Giles does deserve his salary for his work, but you know who deserves to also be well financially compensated? THE SLAYER. Anyways… rant over 😂 … Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I think each of Buffy's experiences with the trio touch on a different part of living experience when trying to find your place in life.
She tried going back to school but everything seems hard and fast paced with her struggling to keep up.
With the construction job she has the skill set but the environment brings her down because others don't like it when they look bad or weaker in front others especially a woman.
Retail is a repetitive time sucker and it feels like it. Doing the same tasks over and over and dealing with hard to satisfied customers over and over.
The angel buffy thing made sense to me because angel would want to see buffy in person but they don't want to spend time the money having either of them on the other show so this is a easier way of acknowledging that they went to see each other.
It would be weird if angel didn't go and see buffy after she returns at all but it just doesn't need to be a big scene on the show.

So at this point starting with season 6 Buffy and Angel were actually airing on different tv networks. So while the writers acknowledged that it wouldn't make sense for them not to meet up after Buffy was brought back, there were some real practical impediments to making an actual crossover happen. So the whole, "I don't want to talk about it," from both of them, was their kinda tongue-in-cheek way of working around that. It's a little disappointing, to be sure, but we did get the rather comical reenactment from Cordy and Wes on the last episode of Angel😆
