Alright so this news post is a bit late, as predicated I was pretty busy last week with the bake sale and the holidays here in the States. I ended up spending a lot more time baking baklava, tartlets, crepes, and napoleons than I was expecting, and of course I only see my real-life friends about twice a year so I probably spent more time hanging out than I normally do. But anyway, we'll be heading back into a normal schedule next week, and there's a lot of channel news to cover so let's start things off with the pilot episodes.
By now all of the pilot episodes from November have been released to the public, and curiously enough the vote for the pilot episodes has now been tied, which means that we'll actually be making all three series (Morrowind Mini-Mod Showcases, Morrowind Modding History and Cities of Cyrodiil) into permanent series, albeit MMH is on a six-week schedule and CoC is on a four-week schedule. Since the Mini-Mod Showcases is pretty much just an extension of MMS, it shouldn't really take up that much time, there's a lot of mods we just never get around to reviewing because I can't get them to fit in an episode or simply because I forget to cover them, so it should all work out just fine.
Now regarding the next batch of pilot episodes, you should start seeing those around the end of December, I've got a pretty good idea of what we're going to base a new mini Morrowind series on, but according to the poll results from our Patreon poll on this subject, you guys also want to see potential video series for Skyrim and Oblivion as well. I haven't quite figured out what to do about those two, I was thinking maybe some sort of Dungeon Modder's Guide to Skyrim? Basically a series that covers three dungeon related mods per episode, such as a New Dungeon mod, a Dungeon Loot mod, and a Dungeon Overhaul mod of an existing vanilla dungeon or some sort of enemy/creature/hostile NPC mod. This would obviously just be with vanilla Skyrim, since I don't plan to get Skyrim SE, and I'll need to check to see if there's actually enough dungeon mods to work with first. But anyway, I still need ideas for an Oblivion series, and as always I'd love to hear your suggestions!
Also, for those of you keeping up with our new competition, Morrowind Modding Madness has officially started! We have four teams representing eleven modders registered for the competition, so hopefully this will be pretty exciting! That screenshot you see there up at the top is actually from the Tower of Madness, a special platform and stage-piece I built in the CS for the competition, there's even a scripted random category selector that randomly selects a category each week with a visual demo. Our first week's challenge is to build a house mod by December 9th, and hopefully we'll see some really cool and creative mods released in this competition. Due to the way the competition is setup, we'll have competition videos airing every week showcasing the creations of each team so they have equal coverage, but because we won't know what those mods are ahead of time, those videos will be listed as "0% completed" in our weekly schedule until they're aired.
Next up, instead of doing our usual weekly review, we're going to be doing a quick review of the month of November. Looking back, we released 12 videos over the course of November, about an average of three videos a week, which is still a bit behind on where we should be, but it's a lot better than October or November. In the future we'll be aiming for an average of four videos a week ideally.
Anyway, looking ahead, here's the planned video schedule for next week. Note that instead of a normal MMS episode, we'll be doing a special tour of Silgrad Tower showcase with a detailed look at the landscapes, cities, and dungeons of Silgrad Tower:

Anyway, I believe that's everything. There's a few other things to mention, apparently LondonRook is almost finished with the interview so that'll be airing in December sometime, and also Let's Mod Morrowind has been delayed until mid-December, but that could come out sooner, I've been in a modding mood of late so I may try and just finish that up.
