Hey guys! Thank you all so much for taking a chance with me with your donations. It really means a lot and I want to make the best use of this service. For the moment I am working on my next review. It will be Apocalypto! Thought this would be great to add some variety to the channel in regard to time periods but I also haven't done a bad film in a while. And since this is a Mel Gibson film you can already take a guess with how historically accurate this is going to be lol. Thanks again you are all awesome!

Hey just watched your review on apocalypto. Fantastic. I'm a high school history teacher and several weeks ago we just learned about mesoamerican civilizations. Wearas most of the other teachers have no real knowledge about mesoamerica I am the only one in the department that had studied the field in college. I even had to correct some of their presentation they prepared for their class such as mistaking the Aztec sun stone for the Mayan calendar. One of the other teachers was going to show apacalyto to his class and asked me about it, I haven't seen the movie yet but I had heard that you were going to review it and that there was many inaccuracies in the movie and I suggested he not show is as it would be a poor example of how the maya actually lived. Great job on the review keep up the good work.

2016-10-23 11:10:53 +0000 UTCThe only Youtube channel I would support. A historical review could be done of almost any movie out there, you have so many to choose from hah! Maybe you should review something slighty comical as well, like Pirates of the Caribbean for example. Anyway, looking forward to your next video!

2016-10-06 13:39:12 +0000 UTCThe South American civilizations have always interested me yet I'll admit my knowledge is limited to more of the decline periods such as the fall of the Aztec's. Mayans...well its limited to their odd disappearance and their calendar. As for the upcoming movie, I can say it was interesting by visually yet I had a feeling there were a lot of inaccuracies all around. I hope you'll be informative in detailing the truths and mistakes involved since I feel I can learn a lot in the end!

2016-09-28 14:08:01 +0000 UTCWell don't worry my friend I never refer to the Maya civilization as a single empire. It kinda bugs me too since I view the Maya kingdoms like Greek city states. However I have to be honest. Even though I do praise the costumes and make up, Apocalypto is still really bad. In fact it is the worst historical movie I have ever seen in regards to how many inaccuracies it has. I praise it where I can but if you truly love the film and don't want to know why I hate it so much you may wanna give this one a skip. However everything I say can be backed up and are legitimate criticisms.

2016-09-28 14:03:15 +0000 UTCLooking forward to your review, I know the movie has a lot of bullshit but I hope you would actually be a bit fair to the movies and praise some of the costumes and the effort that has been put to it (for example the fact that is spoken entirely in the mayan dialect), also if you use the term "mayan empire" I'm seriously unsuscribing to your channel
