Kinda confused here, brother. I'm assuming you are talking about Stannis? Balon Swann had told him and all his nobles about what happened that started this war. Stannis is honor-bound to avenge Eddard Stark as he had declared him the rightful king

I like it just quick I like it just quick note if he betrayed the Lord hand and killed Ned Stark that would mean he declared Joffrey that would mean he declared the king not Stanis

Love this chapter
Bet a lot of men will think twice before trying to kidnap Catelyn again.
Robb will probably have a heart attack when he hears what nearly happened to his mother
Also Tywin is not having a good time
Would love to see Oberyn’s reaction to Gregor’s death
Wonder how Tyrion is faring in Kings landing?

That was a damn good chapter!
Here's to hoping that Stannis vowed to see Baelish executed for betraying Ned. Especially as he was the one man with the most respect who revealed that Stannis is Robert's heir.
He may not like Ned. And he may have been jealous of him, but Stannis at least owes him to see his betrayer hung, or decapitated.
And if there's anything Stannis knows, it's duty to see that a man is given what he is owed.
