Nope, in Book 4 (Battle of the Labyrinth), Percy set off the volcano using a steam explosion. He generated water out of his own body, pressurized it, and blasted into the lave which blew up the mountain. That's according to Riordan's explanation as Percy did NOT inherit his father's earthshaking powers (Which is what Percy was thinking
about when he learned about Whitebeard.)

in the previous chapter there's this line "Percy never even had that aspect of his Father’s powers, which only made the challenge more worthwhile." which unless I remember incorrectly was the power used to set off the volcano which then landed him on Calypso's island
