Rating - 7.5/10 - The scene at the end always pulls me back in, i'll never get bored of 1 on 1 conversations with the boys, they're just so strong! I also appreciated the different vibe from Mary this ep too. Its great to see Jim B on my screen again, it's odd because I know it's not our bobby but at the same time he is so bloody similar! I am confusion lol.

|| Definitely a gourmet chef cuz me as a pilot?...no no my anxiety📈📈 || I did enjoy this episode even tho it’s not really plot related. I’m so proud of Sam for coming so far to lead a group and taking care of everyone. Maggie is so cute and brave. I gotta admit...I’m not a big AW Bobby fan. I loved that we got more of his backstory but his behavior is something else...anyways. Love me some Mary, Mary and Bobby and Mary and the boys scenes. Loved that we had a Djinn again but with much much more power and specials. I wanna know what he saw in Dean’s head... Sad that Mary left again...love her so much but I just wish we would’ve seen more of her in general. More screentime and a better writing but we can’t get everything right? Anyways...it was enjoyable not as bad as the previous ones but still...

2021-06-04 23:26:52 +0000 UTCI totally forgot about Dean's interaction with our benzo!chick. That was a surprisingly great scene. And oof, Sam maintaining solid leadership is pretty awesome, though it seems like he's got to work on not micro-managing.

2021-06-02 00:01:10 +0000 UTCI really do like Sam in the leadership role. He is not getting enough sleep though, so he needs someone to be a solid second in command. It was nice to see Dean not be hurt by Mary running off with Bobby. I think he has come to understand that he really cannot expect too much from her. Still so sad to me that the writers did not choose to fully involve Mary in the show. All those hunters are there in order to get her to even come back to this world, but they still have her go running off with Bobby. I am just sad because her character could have brought so much more to the show.

2021-06-01 00:40:18 +0000 UTCA bit of a downer episode for me, I'm afraid. It was interesting, but something was just off about it. Maybe it was how AU Bobby was acting towards Sam. I didn't like that and AU Bobby isn't my Bobby, so I'm not inclined to have good thoughts about him just because he's A bobby. And I was really starting to wonder what's up with this girl Maggie. Why is she a hunter and she's too young to be hunting on her own, for crying out loud. What is she becoming an official part of the show? Questions!

2021-05-31 19:08:51 +0000 UTCLiked your reactions as usual, not one of my favorite episodes, but does give more back story to the characters and a little insight into the relationships. Felt for Dean in that he blames himself for letting Michael in, and now he has created these suped up monsters. Nice to see Sam in this leadership role, and he does seem to be embarrassed when Dean overhears him talking to everyone, but I think Dean is actually impressed with Sam's abilities. .

2021-05-31 18:22:10 +0000 UTCAs soon as we saw Maggie in the "dungeon", hooked up to blood bags, I thought Djinn, but I could not remember the storyline for this episode. It did felt "fillery". But I liked seeing Sam in charge and Dean warming up to it even if the teasing is still there. But, even if I understand what you said in an earlier episode, Dakara, about Sam letting people learn and grow into themselves as hunters (instead of protecting them as Dean do), it felt not too smart to let Maggie go alone on a hunt. She's a war survivor/refugiee but she was not a hunter in her world. Would Sam have let Jack go on a hunt if Castiel was not with him? I don't think so. He should have think of instoring the buddy system even before he knew about traps for hunters.

2021-05-31 12:48:58 +0000 UTCI love how Dean would be slightly teasing Sam when talking directly to him but will get super defensive as soon as someone else questions Sam or doubts his decisions. Infact even if Sam himself doubts - Dean immediately shuts it down. I love how even when Sam becomes this leader, he still looks for approval, guidance and support from Dean like a little brother. 🥺

2021-05-31 12:22:50 +0000 UTCThis episode isnt the most exciting I will say but I really love the relationship between Mary and the boys this season it feels so much healthier so far than in the previous seasons like they are all finally in a good place with each other there is still a awkwardness but its nowhere near as intense as it was before

2021-05-31 11:06:16 +0000 UTCIn the scene when Neil the djinn looked inside Dean’s head to probe what his nightmares are, we as the audience saw the djinn's reactions to the vision, but we (well, me I guess) don’t know what/how to interpret it as to what he saw. When the script was made available, apparently it said the djinn was sputtering and choking, just like drowning. Just as what Dean’s said in an earlier episode, where he described what Michael did to him when he was possessed, kept him drowning.
