Hi all, and thank you for dropping by!
Added 2023-06-26 10:41:41 +0000 UTCWhile the past 6+ months of token making has been fun and explorative, my mind and fingers are itching for work of a larger scale once again. It was incredibly short compared to what I would need to build up a larger presence and platform, but the bees in my brain are buzzing for MORE work than just tokens.
In order to continue to work as an artist I need to reach broader and be more versatile, which means assessing my website and online portfolio for a start.
For the TL;DR people, I got you!
My Patreon will remain open for people to grab the back-catalogue of tokens I have produced so far and any new ones I decide to release more as a hobby.
And for those who want to continue to support me you are free to do so however you choose - there will be no hard feelings for anyone leaving, just make sure you grab everything you can from the Masterpost before you go :D
My token packs can otherwise be found on my Roll20 Marketplace.
My priorities from here on are as follows:
1. Paid work & commissions
2. Portfolio work
3. Roll20 marketplace
4. Patreon.
And while I'm terrible at social media and you might not see a lot of updates, I'm still here and still drawing :)

Thank you for your support so far, I got this far thanks to all of you!
My Journey
Before I dive into a portfolio rework grind for the rest of the year, I would like to show my supporters the career journey I have been through and try explain where I am headed now.
My professional career started around 2017 where I would take on character drawing commissions for various players and GMs. I have always had great pride over being a completely self taught artist, starting small and forever growing as each project rolls past.
Here are some of my first client work
Through many years I continued to watch videos, tutorials, look at guides and treated every new project like an opportunity to learn something new. It was hard work, being your own student and mentor. My critical eye and penmanship would never quite sync up, so it was always an ebb and flow of feeling an art high and criticism low from within. I'm sure most of you have felt the same at some point when you are learning.
Over time I would focus on particular fundamentals that were the most useful to me for the projects I took on such as Anatomy, Values, Gesture and Material.
Here are some great growth spurts of those:
Aside from work I would continue to draw, explore and practice in my spare time. Art truly is my passion - I have never worked so hard for something that realistically hasn't profited me financially in the long run lol. But I won't stop now! Here are three of my personal works, finished and unfinished. You can find the rest on my website.
One client in particular helped me tremendously and would hire me for artworks spanning across many months which allowed me to truly push my art skills to the next level. My focus here was Anatomy, Values, Composition and Gesture.
Compare these three from the beginning, middle and end of our partnership:
Thank you so much Matthew Jones. Your support and belief in me is what helped me through one of my most significant breakthroughs.
These works, among many others, helped me land larger projects and connected me with wonderful creators within the TTRPG space.
Special thanks to fellow creators and friends

Today
The biggest factor that ails me and everyone else is the financial situation. I have been on stable ground for about two years now thanks to my partner and my family, but I don't know how much longer it will last and I want to be preparedon my own.
My goal now is to rework my portfolio as a whole, fix my broken website and focus all of my energy towards securing financial stability one way or another. As a freelancer, I have no idea where this direction will take me but I feel confident in my own ability to learn and soar.
Thank you all for your wonderful support, thank you for making use of the tokens I produce and thank you for believing in me.
Like I said above, the Patreon account will remain open and I will drop a token or two periodically when they get made, but from today on i need to continue to aim for more work.
Take care and happy gaming!
