Can we seriously appreciate this glow up? Because damnnnn...

Remembering how proud I legit felt of the previous one, that I even made small prints, gives me all the feels! (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) However, even though I laugh so hard at myself now, I really don’t feel any type of shame showing it off, because I really did give it my all while working on this forever ago!

It’s really hard for me to stop, breathe, and appreciate things. My brain’s always at high speed moving forward, thinking on what to work on next. Knowing that it legit takes me weeks to finish anything, feels as if I can’t afford to slow down. I always want more and more, and to get better. Causing me to shut down whenever I do run out of gas.

I don’t mind me being like this, since I’ll forever value quality over quantity and lately I’m trying to portray more emotions in my works rather than just drawing ‘cute cat girls’. It’s hard, but looking at this progress gives me comfort!

With this said, I’ve been reworking on a couple of things that I’ll be sharing soon! I’m not where I want to be, but are we ever? Who knows, maybe in two more years I’ll look back at this piece and laugh too! But as of right now, I’m really happy and proud of this.

I know telling y’all to keep practicing sounds hella cliche, but seriously... keep at it, in whatever it is that you do! Every single day, because when you least expect it ( even if it takes two or more years!) you’ll shut down, look back and see all your progress and wow. It feels good.

Ps: I really hold these girls close to my heart, since they were the very first OCs (I remember) creating! They’ve obviously transformed into so many things throughout the years, from magical girls, to warriors, to now circus babes and probably will continue changing! I don’t have any particular plan with them at the moment, but I’m definitely not opposed to elaborating their story one day!
