Update

Hello hello,

I hope you've been having a good week so far! <3

Just wanted to post a short update: Last week's video, the conceptual photography on expired film video, was the last video from Austria until I return. Now it's time for the first video from Japan! :))

Here's a little sneak peak for this week's video - I look forward to showing you what I found.

Also I've been wondering... is there anything you'd be interested in regarding Japan? Somewhere where you'd like to see me try photography or any other ideas? I think it'd be fun to read what you think so feel free to comment or write me a DM, if there's anything you'd find interesting to see in a future video.

Cheers,

Teo

I'll try to find something - sadly film is in a shortage crisis here in Japan (much worse than in Austria)

T

would be super cool, if you'd try out some film stocks that aren't available in Europe!

Aww great I'm happy to know you enjoyed it! :))

Just watched the video. So so good! Loved so many shots! Especially the pink building contrasting the blue sky. Also a few shots at the end were super! I got so excited at the beginning when I saw the pink blossoms! I’m always fond of your sunny morning videos, and this one was excellent 🌞

Hahahah that's so good!! :,D

Ahh ohh no! That’s the worst feeling. But I’m glad you’ve already been out night shooting, even if it’s gold 200! I saw the 7-11 in your IG story and instantly got vapourwave vibes 😎 library by macintosh plus started playing in my head 😂

I‘ve got one roll of Lomo 800 with me and have already done some night photography with Gold 200 haha😂🙌🏼 Sad story: I actually bought a 3-Pack of Lomo 800 in Austria to bring to Japan, because it’s cheaper. But then I forgot the pack in the fridge🤦🏻‍♂️😂

T

That’s a pity! but I understand. I suppose any higher iso, if you have any rolls of 400 or higher? Night stuff would defo be cool, but dreamy day time could also work. It’s a fantastic opportunity for any photography there! 😍

Janine Jones

Gosh yes, there's so much to shoot! :) However I'm not sure whether I'll be shooting any CineStill... it's tempting, but here in Japan that film stock is so incredibly expensive :,((

T

Japan is so cool! The aesthetic from the car scene, to the eclectic streets….the spring foliage! Have you thought about a roll of cinestill 800T for some nightlife shots there? Very much looking to your first video from Japan!
