Dear friends here on Patreon,
it's time for this month's AE-file. Seeing as I finally published my short film this month, which contained a bunch of AE work, I thought it would only be fitting to share some of that work with you :)
So as you can see in the picture, there were a couple scenes with this surveillance camera overlay including the time and a timer. I've included all three as separate compositions in the file, so that you can use the overlay, but also just use the timers (forwards and backwards) for other purposes.
The timers are set in the Effects Controls of the layer called "timer controls". There you will find three sliders, which you can try out to see what they do. The top slider "startTime" will change the time the timer begins at. The other two sliders determine how many digits you want to show. So if you don't want the hours, only the minutes and seconds, you can set that with those.
The font I used here is called "Video" in this case it's set to "Light". If you don't already have this font installed (available on Adobe), then After Effects will probably replace them with something else once you open the software, just so you know :)
I hope you like this and that this can be of any use to you one day! If there are any issues, you can of course leave a comment or write me a DM.
Thank you for the support and I'll see you soon,
Teo
