It's weird, but that's how all white things are white. Random scattering that partly goes inward, but eventually comes back out

Stupid question/comment: wouldn’t a foam not be able to achieve the same radiative cooling effect of spheres/threads because the internal reflection isn’t consistently directed outwards? I get that bubbles are useful for getting it whiter, but the path of the photons through the material is going to be more random than your past experiments, right?
