Hi!
I REALLY should not be allowed to watch your channel, let alone be a patron.
First, im Totally trying this at home.
Second, Argon is your friend
Third, Magnets can do Awesome things and half the reason im going to go get a sicence microwave is going to be for toying with this.
Im not going to stop at rubies either...
My Dad was an analytical chemist for a govt nuclear lab and his favored pastime was geology and collecting minerals...
I'm going to bug him and figure out what crucibles are needed and what else could be melted.
Also, I tried making your home brew version of Starlite. One of the test bits I made ate an oxy acetylene rosebud for a significant amount of time. It was taking damage, but it stayed intact.
I lined a coffee can with it, torched it for a bit with the rose bud, and then winter hit LoL
Its warming up now but I have a bunch of chickens to take care of before I get back to the garage...
Cheers!

It can be used for abrasives or abrasive resistance. It's used for abrasive resistant 3D printer nozzles for example. This method is not refined enough to make such things though. It's just a novel demonstration.
