DIY Wood Burning Camp Stoves (With Walking Stick Chimney)
Added 2020-06-17 18:04:49 +0000 UTCFor this project I set out to make a wood burning camping stove that could heat a shelter or hot tent (an open floored tent made for use with a stove) without weighing you down on a hike. For such purposes it's necessary to use a chimney, which I decided should take the form of a walking stick. The stoves shown in this video have a total weight of about 3 lbs each (1.4 kg), and are very easy to walk with. The price for each is about $20, and even less if you can find a few of the pieces in your recycling bin.
