We've got nine songs with wide-ranging musical sounds and aesthetics, all including some of our favorite mentions of modes of transportation. Just a guess about Joni and her guitar... I think that might have been an encore, since she said she wanted to sing more but her pipes were going. I wish my voice sounded that good when my pipes were going! But anyhow, perhaps that song had the capo in a different spot or it's in a different tuning than her last song, so she needed to retune.

The sparseness is its specialty with those intervals of the two lines crossing and complementing each other. I think it is that mixolydian mode which adds to the dreamy vibe.
