It’s World Book Day so I wanted to film a little something for it... Obviously I wasn’t going to be reading from my own book - that’s definitely not for kids! 🥲 so instead I opted for one of my favourites from my childhood, ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’. Although my version was in Irish 😂 Enjoy this little one take wonder of me reading it in English for the first time 🥰 also please don’t judge me for my accents or voices haha 😆

I’ll be sharing this publicly later on today 💓

How's World Book Day supposed to work if publishers won't let people publicise their books for them??? Sheesh.

Sophie's mother would fit in well in Downton Abbey! 😉

You did an amazing job! I'm sure your nieces will be thrilled. Take care JD.

you really need to hook up with an audiobook company that will work with you and allow you to do it the way you nee to do it. I have aways said you have an amazing speaking voice

I wouldn't be able to refrain from using Monty Python voices reading that aloud

Aww how cute 🥰 can’t wait to have a little listen after work. Elsie often says to me “Kerri tell me a story” and if I say but I don’t have a book she says “Just use your voice” 😂 So I have to try n remember stories to tell her ❤️

That's a wonderful story! You read it very well too. My kids are grown but I remember back to when I had the joy of reading stories to them. Thanks for reminding me of that!!

John DeJarnatt

That's very sweet. But how do you drink all the water in the tap??? Apparently "An tíogar a tháinig chun tae" is out of print but I'm keeping my eye out for it now. I love collecting kids books in Irish! (I have "An Prionsa Beag" in about 6 languages now.)
