I once attended a lecture by an award-winning anthropology professor, whose argument was that Disney films intentionally cause anxiety in order to convince viewers to purchase merchandise to alleviate that anxiety. If you look closely at the films, there are so many broken families, deceased parents, etc. The films really do emphasize childhood trauma. *Your* Primark haul video, on the other hand, is hilarious. Thank you for adding a bunch of laughs to my day. π
