These two pages were an absolute pain to create. The issue was with Serena's skin. I had to keep making adjustments to get it right. Everything in the scene reflects light to some degree. The changes impacted how she reflected light around her. This has a minor impact on the render, but a bigger impact on the post work in photoshop, where I adjust brightness and contrast. The better I get with manipulating these variables, the better the finished product looks. It's both maddening and highly satisfying if that makes sense. I'm going to make similar changes to all the models.
