3D Artist Frustrations
Added 2022-05-09 20:05:51 +0000 UTCWhile working on a scene Sunday, I needed a pill for the scene. I loaded a pill and couldn't find it at the zero location or listed in the scene tab. I tried it again with the same result. I choose a different pill model and moved on. Last night I set three scenes to render. This morning there was a solid band across the top of all three scenes. I couldn't find anything blocking the camera lens, until I hid the camera. You guessed it, I found the missing pills.
Usually objects load in the zero location (X:0; Y:0; Z:0). For some reason this object was designed to load attached to whatever was selected. I had the camera selected since I had to reframe the scene. I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry.
