Medical Delay
Added 2021-08-17 19:26:29 +0000 UTCHaving an awesome day today. I was bitten by a spider over the weekend. I didn't get super powers, just cellulitis slowly spreading up my arm. Spent the morning in the Urgent Care. I'm on oral antibiotics now. If that doesn't work I get to go to the ER for intravenous antibiotics. I don't really feel like creating art right now. Hopefully it doesn't get worse and I just have to let the oral antibiotics do their thing. I'll keep you posted.

I've had spider bites before because I used to be in the Boy Scouts and later the Army. This is the forst time I've had a reaction like this. The good news is that it feels better this morning. It still looks bad, but the antibiotics seem to be working.

Hopefully the Antibiotics will kick in hard and clear up the Infection quickly.

2021-08-17 21:37:50 +0000 UTCIt would have been so much cooler if I had gotten super powers. On Monday afternoon an ominous red line was creeping up my arm following a vein. It was rather sobering. My arm is red and swollen from the inside of the elbow to the middle of the bicept. You can actually feel the cellulitis when you touch my arm - it's hard. I'm glad I didn't ignor it. Had I waited a day, they said I'd have to go to the Emergency Room. All from a spider.
