Hey folks!
So, I spent the last month moving. Yeah, that's right, pretty much the whole month. Our new apartment was being renovated, I had to stay with family while my computer was in a box for two weeks, etc etc. It did give me some time to think about how I'm approaching my workload for Reckless Sympathy, so it's not all a loss. I've never gotten very far on a project this big before, so I'm trying to step back and do some of the groundwork stuff I usually don't worry about. In this case, some simple ref sheets for the cast, to make it easier for me to keep their design consistent.
Big words from someone who's still fiddling with the designs, but such is the curse of working on a big project on your own; no one can stop you from overpolishing.
Anmarie's look is the one that I kinda banged out without thinking about too much, and hasn't changed much since. She's a big, emotionally stunted maid. Why mess with perfection?
Here's hoping I have more time in October to sit down and draw! Once I'm done with ref sheets for the rest of the main cast, I can start actually stitching together the rest of part 1. Exciting! Nerve wracking! It's gonna be great!
