A bit about everything

New models:

Sorry guys, I'm still searching for models but maybe I should lower my standard a bit, I thought I could find a good model recently because the outbreak is less serious than before, it turns out people are still keeping their guard high, which is a good thing though.

As for June, there's still hope that I can provide new videos because Lin said the girl with Yaeba teeth may available in June, but not quite sure yet, so I will still suggest you guys to remove your pledge before June if you want only new stuff, and join again if you see new works from me.

The safety of previous models:

I've got quite a few people asking about the health of the models, I can tell you that most of them are doing very good, I don't have the contact of Aisa and Deer, but I guess they are also fine too.

Equipment:

I don't think I would buy this camera as I don't wanna pay $6000 usd for a pre production unit, which need to sync with a cable and adjust the settings for two units from both the camera and phone each time, because it's not actually one single unit.

They just put 2 m43 cameras together in a cage without trying to make it work like one camera, and they have no answer about the final version, so I guess I will build one by myself and wait for the final version.

This is one of the most popular set up in Japan, some use gh5 or gh5s if 4k60p is needed.

There are only few mirrorless cameras with 4K60p in the market at this moment, and luckily fuji x-t3 is one of them, but it's not a good video camera as the battery capacity is too small and it can only record 20 minutes for 4K60 video. 

My first choice is 2x Fuji X-T3 (because I have one already), the second choice is 2x GH5s, which is a very good option because this camera is made for video recording, but the interpupillary distance for 2 GH5s is around 76mm while X-T3 is around 74mm, a bit shorter, yet still far from the best distance 64mm, but this is the shortest set up with 4k60p in my research, other 4K60p cameras have over 8 cm ipd.

And, this is the set up I may going to build... I may be the first one in VR industry who use fuji camera for 180VR recording if I decide to build it with X-T3, because it's not really suitable for this job.

There aren't too much fisheye lenses build for APSC camera with full circular image, I guess the most popular fisheye lens for professional VR is from entaniya (the picture above), and it cost 388,000JPY (around 3600 USD), that means I need to spend 7200 USD for 2 cameras, so it's not an option for me, I have time anyway so I will keep searching the best one for my set up.

But if I use this set up for future filming, I guess it would be very hard to record 12 different angle with different content, don't know yet but let's see.
