Tex, Save voice as needed. I hope you and the team are being safe on your trip. I appreciate all the work you do to bring is such high quality content. I am considering running a TTRPG campaign in the Battletech setting and having the players experience the Amaris Civil War and potentially the Exodus depending on their choices. I have found a GURPS conversion rule set for Battletech. The other option I was considering was Traveler, though I have not used the system yet. Any recommendations on the system, or ways to have players that are not familiar with Battletech lore experience this pivotal period in the setting's history?

Boxing the stars and fate. That line regarding the charger and its pilots still gets me. But it’s the truth. You don’t become great by sitting on your ass and following the crowd. All the truly greats from Edgar Allen Poe, to Herman Melville are immortalized because of their willingness to swing for the fences. Updates on the house. The painting jobs done for the first floor along with the staining for all the woodwork. Put in some area rugs and installed some upgrades in the plumbing. She’s coming together great. Question. I have an old Ithaca deer slayer 12 gauge I bought for a few bucks. She’s scuffed up, has some dents in the stock and the finish is worn but she’s accurate as hell and the action is smooth as silk. I’d like to restore her so she’s more than just a “truck” gun. What would you suggest for the stock for stain and varnish and would it be wise of me to attempt parkerizing the steel rather than re-blueing. (Seriously for as accurate and smooth as this piece is it’d be a shame not to spruce her up a bit to match her performance.). I appreciate it. Stay safe in your travels.
