Hey there Mr Tex, please save voice. I sincerely hope that things get infinity better in your golden years, they way you talk it sounds like you've already worked several lifetimes and I can only imagine the toll that takes. The steam friend list observation really hits too close to home and it's something all of us take for granted until they just never log back in ever again, many times because of passing away. On a much more positive ending, what is your favorite mid range go to bourbon? Midwest distribution is weird, but I'd love to try to find some new bourbons to try. Much love to all the bpl

They (and beer) are the standard Australian cures for most ailments, but particularly sore throats. Painting / weapon question: on a mech-scale autocannon, where would the barrel be the hottest? At the muzzle or closer to the chamber? I’d like to get the heat glow / tempering colours in the right spot. Keep up the good work!

I really wanted to start by apologizing to you and also please extend it to Goat, my sloppy sentence structure last patron. I was excited and had little sleep but that’s no excuse. So just a simple question. For someone wanting to try Space station 13/14 what would you say would be maybe 5 most basic but useful items to grab to be able to participate and help the stories. I don’t mean weapons or specific job items but for example a crowbar or insulated glove type items. Thank you and again apologies to both you and Goat

What's the difference between trolling and shitposting and when it crosses the line? I never really understood what shitposting meant. Recently I disagreed with someone on my Congressional representative's FB page. Later, that person went to my page and put the mocking laugh emoji on my posts about the passing of my cat and of my friend. Then he made some cruel remarks which I have deleted. I'm not sure if that's what a person would call shitposting or just trolling. Either way, it's just being mean for being mean's sake. It's like being in high school again, except this time the bully is in another time zone. Battletech question, why is there AC 2, 5, 10, and 20 but not an AC 15? Did they originally plan to have a Gauss Rifle, or was there another reason?

I remember playing 4 games in my adolescence, 1 was Fallout 1 and 2, Mechwarrior 3, Mech Commander, and the other was the original Command & Conquer. I loved those games back in the day. I still love Fallout today (the OG Fallout and New Vegas specifically. The Bethesda stuff feels like an alternate reality or timeline XD) An interesting fan crossover question for you (or any BPL members present). If Kane from C&C found himself in the Battletech universe, what kind of trouble do you think he would cause for the Inner Sphere, Periphery, Clans, and or Comstar? And what kind of mechs/vehicles do you think he would use for said trouble?

On the BT campaign we had this awesome session where the players got to hear the history of the Clans from the Jade Falcon Bondsmen they captured. Of course the players put their foot in their mouth and got challenged a few times. They defused it all, but then one of the Bondsmen wanted out the melodramatic Clan way, so they were offered a 1911 in 10mm, Bondsman didn't know what a grip safety or manual safety was and she's now doing the paperwork for the Major. Coming up, will Morgan Kell get murdered ? One of the players is on a "You killed my pa !" revenge streak because he got sent by Aldo Lestrade to kill Kell to stop him from interfering with his big plans back in 3029. Sadly his dad got Hunchbacked before he could get to Morgan Kell. Funny thing is someone is feeding him info, who are they ? Big mystery so far. Sorry to hear you got sick, got a bit of a cough myself, but it's been weird, third time in a row I felt like getting a cold and other than a mild cough or some sniffles, nothing comes through. No the C-thing either. I feel like disease is just waiting to bushwhack me with something really bad.

After I finish Chapter House, are there any Dune related books that u recommend? I'm interested in reading the one on the Butlerian Jihad, but I don't know if I should read any of the others. Got a couple things. Was watching the latest BTA3062 and you mentioned getting a second machine gun. You already got a Thompson but I’ll guess maybe either some manner of MP5 or another WW2 piece like a MP40, Sten or grease gun. I suspect I’m pretty far off, but classic wood and metal seems more your speed. You also asked if I were to get any kind of car for a mid life crisis what I’d get and what accessories. Honestly, probably a 1 ton heavy duty diesel pickup (Chevy or Ford) and the biggest 5th wheel camper I could afford to tug behind it. Then, aim for the horizon and go as far as I can. My reasoning? Time. DemolitionRanch, one of the biggest gun tubers with a multimillion subscriber base along with ads and merchandise is quitting streaming and YouTube. Why? It’s because he wants to spend time with his kids and family. He makes big bucks, has the fame and life and he’s walking away from all of it because when it’s all over and done he doesn’t wanna think he neglected time with family. I want the same. I want to spend time with my family and kids and have adventures, see new things and explore new places because nothing is guaranteed. I want to look back and go, “yeah, I was an awesome husband and dad, we did amazing things together.”

I’d have to get the aviator style mirrored ray bans to go with it too. Along the aviation thought line - ever seen the YT channel “not a pound for air to ground”? He does an awesome job covering post WWII through Cold War/early 2000 military aircraft.
