Looking forward to the Ultimate Admirals play-through, though very sad to hear they are getting shut down. I was eyeballing some of their UG line of games but couldn’t pull the trigger. After your last update I went and bought everything I had been hesitating on from them. Additionally, I can finally understand why Space station 13/14 is so well loved. I managed to play a round last night and ran into a clown spider armed only with a crowbar. (It did not go my way) I’ve never been so horrified and at the same time laughing at the ridiculousness. I have a lot to learn about work in spess but will learn in the many more games that will be played. Thank you for the intro to my new happy drug. (Aside from Battletech) Speaking of… you do playthroughs of BTA is that still because rogue tech is so resource heavy? Or do you prefer one over the other. My first hilarious death in rogue tech was not treating a party truck with the respect it deserved. In one turn my bushwhacker went from fully healthy to basically floating arms and legs just standing there as everything else was atomized (the pilot only lived since it was the “player”) Good times. Sorry for the long post 😅

Didn't expect dubstep Carmen, that was actually surprisingly good, My current projects include painting nagash, teaching battletech to noobs at my flgs since they decided to start doing battletech, and attempting to get dwarf fortress running on my phone on a whim, works better than I expected, only roadblock is I now need to find a mouse I can Bluetooth to the phone for z levels. As far as plumbing goes that's rough man, I'd say it'd be cheaper to fix it yourself but that sounds like how it got that way to start, good luck, stay safe-ish

Yeah, looking at the warload and mobility profile it does look more like a high-end Heavy than a low-end Assault. A quick and dirty mod I just dreamed-up assuming field-expedience in the Succession-wars era would be to simply swap the PPC with an LRM15 and drop the Machine-Guns and ammo for LRM reloads. Thinking of it as a sorta super-heavy cavalry mech. "We're getting flanked on the right, Medium LRM fire, probably a couple Trebuchets." "Roger, out to intercept in five, four... Oh God it's a full Assault-Lance!" If there were resources to do an engine-swap, much more could be played-with.

This week's bad, furnace heat exchanger went out (even though when checked in Oct it was okay) car needed repairs and I had to get dental work done. Not a fun week BUT on the flip side I actually started streaming on twitch and then uploading those to YouTube. (2 videos so far with the game Vein) And I am "doing everything wrong" as I am doing long plays of a game that is still in development by 2 designers and I'm not asking anyone to like subscribe or comment because fuck that we are all adults and know how it works. Anyways just wanted to say keep your head up and keep swinging one fist at a time.
