A Scene Girl Encounters a Smartphone
Added 2023-11-10 06:44:18 +0000 UTCAs a 95' baby growing up in the 2000s, it feels weird drawing this. If I were a scene kid, this would've hit me much harder. The scene/emo subculture was a big thing in that era along with Myspace, a formerly popular social media platform that scene kids took great part in. So far, digital cameras are the most used cameras in their arsenal. I have seen selfies taken by phones, but most of them are early 2010s judging by the models.
Also, I'm a bit aware of the scene revival in the late 2010s. It's pretty cool.
