I had a hard time cracking this drawing. Drawing it and preparing it took a long time. I wanted to draw otherworldly angels based on biblically accurate angels, which took me ages to brainstorm. It didn't help that I was on covid when making a rough sketch. I left the drawing in limbo, feeling that it wasn't as good as I thought. I was even considering scrapping the whole thing since I was not in good health and mind at the time.
But I resumed working on it two months later. I think the result is good, although I envision to make the drawing darker, with the angels mostly obscured in shadow with only a dot of light as a light source. But I'm sure that you might see it differently.
