Lavender BR Casinos

Although I'm currently working on 4-5 projects at the same time, I have posted very little this month. I hope you don't hold that against me. The preparations for the new Kickstarter campaign are taking a lot out of me. In my "free time" I work on other decks, but I notice myself getting lost in details that I couldn't visualize in a post.

Be that as it may, I have rediscovered my love for pink/lavender tones :D

And I thought a Lavender BR Casino deck would be nice.

Nothing concrete is planned at the moment, but I wanted to record it here with you. Since other decks that I have posted here before have already become reality.

You may have seen that even Fontaine switched to WJPC with their latest decks. I know myself that I wasn't the very first person who started to print with WJPC. But I wasn't ashamed to mention WJPC and I know a handful of people who started to print with WJPC because of my Innocence Holo Edition. There are some who still keep it a secret for fear of negative reactions, but the honest truth is that a lot people can't even tell anymore if it's a USPCC deck or a deck from China. I had to put up with stupid comments myself as to why I would print with WJPC. Even from a Kickstarter backer who canceled his €200 support because of it. I would like to see an end to this narrow-mindedness. I understand that certain people have their favorite printer, but as long as the quality is right, it doesn't matter where the cards are printed.

Much love and thanks for your support!

Daniel

Really like how the lavender looks!

Thank you very much for your message. I really appreciate your feedback and honesty. I will not stop printing with USPCC and of course, I see pros and cons on both sides. But WJPC is able to print decks where USPCC reaches its limits. Both the Innocence Holo Deck and the 10 Year Edition could not be printed with USPCC. So I had to switch to WJPC, and over time I discovered even more possibilities that USPCC can't offer.

First off, I love the deck. The simplicity with the lavender is my go to deck any day of the week. That being said, I have to admit I am disappointed in going with WJPC. I’m a music producer and sound engineer which requires extended periods of time listening to albums and focusing on specific elements within the song. I also have very bad ADD that makes this difficult. What I found helps me the most, is fidgeting with cards while I listen. I spend probably 12 hours a day with a deck in my hand and can without a doubt, definitively say there is a noticeable difference in the quality of cards between WJPC and USPCC. While WJPC aren’t bad per se, they don’t match USPCC in terms of overall deck quality. I’m not talking about misprints or misaligned borders but the actual feel of the cards. If wanted, I can even post a picture of how the cards warp differently over time with USPCC holding up to better standards over longer periods of time. Long rant, but the gist of it is I am one of the ones that will choose USPCC every time until I feel a quality contender can match their cards. That being said, Black Roses will always remain my favorite cards and I’ll support the decks anytime I can. But if I had my say in the matter, I’d choose USPCC regardless of any variable, considering they remain consistent.
