Due to communication problems caused by the language barrier, there were a few annoying and unnecessary delays in the production of the 10 Year Anniversary deck. While the new printer finished the Phantom and Black Roses 2014 replica decks within 2 weeks, WJPC hasn't even started yet. Gladly we have still plenty of time. But I took a big financial risk, with the knowledge that I will have the cards before the campaign starts, so I can advertise with the final deck. I hope that the cards will still be finished this year, but they couldn't give me an estimated completion date.

To avoid sitting around nervously waiting, I thought it would be best to start with render graphics that I can use for Kickstarter. In all my previous campaigns I used renders as main images. I know, photographers hate me for this :D But with renders, I can create a series of images in the same style relatively quickly which also correspond exactly to my ideas. I always have to make compromises with photos. Anyway, it is relatively difficult to make (gold) foil look real in a render. That's why I actually thought about real photos for the campaign. But it will probably come down to renders again due to the lack of time.

It took me quite a while to get a gold tone I'm happy with. I spent all day yesterday creating 3 of the renders that you can see here. When I had finished everything, I thought to myself that the black background is probably not the most inviting for a crowdfunding campaign. Long story short, for the final campaign page, I'll probably use different images with a white background.

Thanks for reading.
Much love
