Since the information about the 10 Year Anniversary Edition is a bit scattered in the last Patreon posts, I wanted to summarize the most important information for you in this post.
When does the Kickstarter campaign start?
We are going live on Kickstarter with the 10 Year Anniversary Edition on Saturday February 10, 2024. It ends on February 19, my birthday. After Christmas, I will start advertising publicly, then I'll also post the pre-launch page link. Yes, it still takes a few days until February 10, but on the other hand the time will pass faster than expected and you will find out later in this post why this long lead time is necessary.
How many different decks will there be?
So far there are 3 different decks.
1. 10 Year Anniversary Edition (2500 regular decks + 2 x 250 gilded decks)
2. Phantom Edition (1000 regular decks + 200 gilded decks)
3. 2014 Replica (500 decks. 1 deck will be included in the First Come First Serve bundle)
There are a limited number of collector's boxes with a numbered seal for the 10th Anniversary deck and the Phantom Edition.
How much will the decks cost?
If you have supported one of my Kickstarter campaigns already, you already know that you get rediculous huge discounts, especially if you choose the FCFS bundle. So the price of a single deck doesn't really matter that much anymore if you order more than 1 deck. Anyway, the prices for 1 deck are as follows:
10 Year Anniversary Edition - 15β¬ (approx. $16)
Phantom Edition - 15β¬ (approx. $16)
2014 Replica - 12β¬ (approx. $13 - same price as the original deck)
25β¬ for each gilded deck.

Since April 2020, since I have Patreon, I have never paid myself the money I received from your support here on Patreon. Maybe not the smartest idea, because I could have invested it. But I was always happy to see that amount and have it as a reserve. For the first time I withdrew about half to be able to pay for the cards for the upcoming project. With other words, I wouldn't be able to pay for the cards without your ongoing support. Your support really never ceases to amaze me. Thank you so much for your appreciation!
Kickstarter is, of course, there to fund precisely those projects where the money for implementation is lacking. To save myself financial bottlenecks I could just wait until the Kickstarter project is over. So the question is: Why am I not doing this?
I hate that all backers have to wait so long between the end of the project and the realization of the deck. No printing company manages to stay on schedule at the moment. On the last few projects, I was never able to meet the delivery date - even with enough time in between, there were still major delays, which meant my buffer was always caught up. Best case scenario is that the project ends and the cards are shipped before I even get the money from Kickstarter. I've been trying to do that for the last 2 projects, but the delays always meant that it wasn't possible. That should definitely change this time.
From a financial perspective, this project is a disaster with the potential revenue it can generate and the effort and financial risk behind it. But this is something that I simply have to do, for a "project" that I have already dedicated a decade of my life to.
Thanks for reading.
Much love
Daniel
