Procrastination has dominated my everyday life a little bit the last days. That's why I set myself a goal. I'll send two new decks to USPCC by the end of this week! One of the decks is the MxS Casino "Stingers" deck.
For the first MxS Casino edition we made two different seal stickers. Standard in red and stripper deck in blue. Printing the blue stickers was ridiculously expensive because we had to pay for 1000 stickers, but we only ended up printing around 200 stripper decks - I don't even remember the exact number anymore. USPCC offered us to use their standard USPCC seal but didn't want to finish it all with a compromise.
Long story short, custom seal stickers are expensive af and in the meantime, I have also become comfortable with the idea of using the standard USPCC seals for the MxS Casino deck. When you look at the preview image you see the deck with a white USPCC seal. I have an older Bicycle stripper deck from Ohio with a white USPCC seal. I think it's the only Bicycle deck that I have ever seen with a white seal.
The "Orbit x Tally-Ho" deck was introduced at CardCon a few days ago. You may have heard of the "72 CardCon exclusive decks" with a red USPCC seal instead of the standard blue custom Orbit seal sticker. A few card collector's got upset about it. One guy even said he would stop collecting Orbits because of this.
Let me tell you a little secret, but it must stay between us.... 👀
The real reason the Tally-Ho Orbits have a red seal is because the actual seal stickers didn't get done in time. USPCC asked Chris what they should do and he simply said that they should put a red seal on them. It would be better than no seal.
And of course, the red seal makes this deck for these people more interesting, but when you get right down to it, it's ridiculous to see it as something better. It's the exact same deck, just with another seal.
Anyway, this seal sticker "drama" brought me to the idea: "what if we simply put four different colored seals on the same deck?" You may think I just wanna see the world burn but no - not yet :D There would be an equal number of stickers. So no deck would be more limited than another. And four different seal colors would be in one collector's box, so you don't even need to search forever. This is currently my favorite idea. Let me know what you think.
Otherwise I like the idea of using two different seal stickers. White and black. One color that you can get in all shops and the other color is exclusively available on blackroses.cards/remedies.cards.
Let me know what you think about these ideas and which seal color you prefer. I like white the most. It looks different than the other seals and you aren't already bored of seeing them so often.

Much love
Daniel
