The Black Roses V1s are coming back this summer, printed by MPC. In order to get them on my current favorite card stock - Linen Air Light - I'm forced to print 1000 decks. I would like to make them more limited like the Cartamundi and Hanson Chien reprint but I also don't want that the quality suffers from it. The MPC reprint will be marked as well.
For a while now, I've been toying with the idea of reprinting the deck with MPC. First I thought about only 100 decks - an exact reprint of the very first deck from 2014. Some sort of a replica only for you. That would be a nice time travel, but 100 decks are not cheap to produce - not to mention the lack of quality under 1000. I also didn't like the idea of having so many decks where I don't even like the faces anymore. I don't want to rule out that the replica deck will still become a thing at some point in future, just for the reminiscence. But right now I'm not feeling it.
After the Black Roses got printed with USPCC I never counted the MPC Black Roses from 2014 as official deck. I myself don't even have a deck of them anymore. But it all started with MPC and they've improved so much over the years that I can proudly add this MPC reprint to my collection with the decks from USPCC, Cartamundi and HC.
You'll get the deck for free on top in the "First Come First Serve" reward of the Edelrot Kickstarter campaign. These are the first items of the FCFS reward:

The MPC reprint will also be available as add-on. With MPC I'll be able to print a lot more gaff cards for this deck. I'll definitely add some to the FCFS special as well.
Much love and stay safe
