Edelrot

It's been eight month already since I posted the first informations about the "Scarlet Roses". Today I decided to call them "Edelrot". This is German and means noble red. It was important to me to find a name for the dark red color that isn't already overused in the playing card world. And with this name it fits perfectly to the name idea of the Immergrün Edition.

The Edelrot Edition will be my next Kickstarter project.

I've been going back and forth for a long time about which Kickstarter campaign should be the next one. In the end I decided against another cold foil deck as the next project. I would like to offer a more affordable deck again to everyone that you can use without worrying about using it.

Since the fulfillment of Cold Foil Black Roses Hotel decks is still in full swing, I don't want to announce a launch date yet for this campaign. All backers should receive their decks from my last campaign first.

I also underestimated the fulfillment time of the last campaign a bit. This weekend I turn 33 and my goal was to let the next campaign end on my birthday again. That would have been a great thing to become a tradition. But sadly it's not possible this year.

It would be possible to start the next campaign next month. But I also want to optimize the waiting time a bit. That's why I'm not really sure yet about the launch date. Right now it could be next month or sometime this summer. I wanna do at least the prepress work with USPCC first before I start the next campaign so that it doesn't take that long again for you until you receive the cards.

My goal is is to make the Edelrot campaign to my shortest Kickstarter campaign to date. Definitely not longer than ten days, maybe only seven. You should feel the event character.
